During the first year of operation of the Reuse Water Production Station (EPAR), Expo Center Norte supplied 19.6 million liters of treated water, cutting the venue's drinking water consumption by 40%. The initiative, developed in partnership with General Water, saved R$1.11 million in operational water costs during this period.
Of the treated water from EPAR, over 16 million liters went directly to fairs and events, while 3.6 million liters were used for the venue’s daily operations – like restrooms, floor washing, and irrigation.
