Expo Center Norte was founded in November 1993 to consolidate the northern region of São Paulo as a hub for trade shows and congresses.
From its initial 35,000 m², its structure gradually expanded to over 98,000 m², housing 5 pavilions and 21 auditoriums.
The Convention Center, with its modular design, was projected to accommodate up to 4,100 people simultaneously, making it the largest in São Paulo.
The expansion of the pavilion area and the construction of the new Convention Center in 2009 positioned the venue as one of the most versatile and complete event spaces in Brazil. Today, modernized, it puts São Paulo on par with other world-class cities for hosting trade shows and congresses.
Expo Center Norte is part of the Cidade Center Norte multi-use complex, which also includes the Center Norte, Lar Center, and Novotel Center Norte shopping malls, all with easy access to São Paulo's airports.
